DISCIPLINES

Students are required to observe the rules and regulations set by our agency.
They are expected to wear proper attire at all times and to dress decently while attending classes. Students should behave properly at all times and conduct themselves in a dignified manner.
They are required to attend classes at all time. Any application for leave from attending classes must be made in writing and according to the proper stipulated procedure that may be in place at the relevant time.
 

ATTENDANCE

All of my classes are subject to the School's Attendance Policy. Therefore, FOUR (4)

ABSENCES are allowed without grade penalty. For each absence beyond four, the course grade will be lowered one (1) letter. TWO (2) OBSERVATIONS are allowed. If you cannot participate in class but are ambulatory, you may observe class and write a brief observation paper, signed and dated, to be turned in at the end of class. FOUR (4) MAKE UP CLASSES are allowed if they are available in the same technique as the class you missed. There is a two (2) week deadline to make up an absence. Failure to meet this time limit will result in a permanent absence. TWO (2) TARDY arrivals will constitute one (1) absence. It is ultimately your responsibility to make sure you are included in the daily roll call.

Attendance Policy:-
• Participation is the only way to meet the objectives of this course.
• Attendance is MANDATORY
• INCOMPLETE grades will not be given without medical documentation.
• One (1) point per un-excused absence will be deducted from your grade.
• If a student is not present when attendance is taken she/he will be considered absent.
• There are NO makeup classes.
• In addition to attending all classes, attendance is required at the following events. Within one week of
• the performance viewing, you must submit a one-paragraph email response. NO attachments. Your
• name and class must be in the subject line of the email.


DRESS POLICY

Leotards and tights. No baggy clothing. No shorts. Jazz shoes are optional. Hair must be pulled back away from the face. Knee pads are suggested.
• Form-fitting & suitable for movement attire.
• No oversized clothing.
• No shoes or socks.
• Hair needs to be confined and out of the dancer’s face.
• No large jewelry, including watches.
• KNEE PADS ARE REQUIRED.
 

STUDIO CARE

No eating, drinking or gum chewing in the studio is allowed. No street shoes are allowed on the dance floor!. Students must switch-off their mobile phone when classes are in progress. Students, who have enrolled for this program, are to be consistent and punctual in attending classes

Each student is also responsible for monitoring her/his own progress.

The duration of each class will depend entirely on the student’s ability to master the steps of every song that are played through-out the training sessions.


Students not in compliance with the above requirements will not be allowed to participate in class.

Inside Out
You will be assigned to participate in the Shah Production and get hands on experience working within the production.
